So we made spaghetti alla vongole for dinner, and it was good.

Have noticed a lot of commercials suddenly using Christmas music. The grocery store I went to this afternoon had a fake Christmas tree up. Too early, I say!

I really don't care about the new LJ personal info page. No, it's not very attractive -- there's way too much blank white space at the top, and that's visually unappealing. And Nature abhors a vacuum, or something like that. But I don't come to LJ for the personal info page. I come here because all you amazing people are here, and you're all different, and fascinating to listen to, and it's like this humming network with something happening and folks talking and people living, every minute of every day. And I love that.

Wow, do I sound like a total dweeb. I should drink more red wine. Hee.

You know, it's not that draft breeds aren't smart. They generally are, very much so. The trouble is that some of them really do learn to throw their weight around and they become thugs, pretty much plowing over anything that gets in their way. And their even temperaments sometimes slow into laziness and obstinance.

Twilight has those traits, sometimes, but mostly she just wants to know how to understand what you want and Get It Right. And if she feels confused she gets scared, or sometimes throws a tantrum like a thirteen-year-old girl. You can practically hear her squealing, "OMG THAT IS SO NOT FAIR I HATE YOU!"

*snerks at the idea of a thousand-pound tantrum*

*then runs away, because I don't actually want to BE there, Z's tantrums are enough, thank you*

*and I can pick her up if I have to*
