While I am obviously still hoping to be a good candidate for immunotherapy, there is a part of me that is at the point where I would happily inject straight Drano into my veins to start killing these little lung motherfuckers bugs. So tired of being tired and out of breath at the slightest exertion all the time.

In other news, I am delighted to see that it rained on President* Goat-boy McBumblefuck's parade. :DDD

*Oh, he deserves an asterisk and everybody knows it.

OMG YES

I mean, for me it isn’t the exhaustion (which isn’t as severe for me) so much as being SORE ALL OVER from coughing for ... seven months? I think it’s been seven months. Or six? I don’t know. It feels like for. Fucking. Ever.

And now I have to wait on insurance to approve the targeted med I need and I am ready to just ... hurt something. Blow something up. Take whatever the hell will stop this bullshit.

Oh, so that happens to you too, huh? :-P I never had that happen in my life until just, like, two weeks ago.

If it never happens again that’ll be too soon.

Butbutbut... millions showed up to the Cheeto parade. BILLIONS! (Of raindrops.)

(Why yes, I am also delighted about the rain.)

The first time I heard that I thought it had to be a joke. Which, sadly, is a recurring theme during this administration. Reality is dumber than the parody.

I can't bring myself to actually watch the human turd's speech, but multiple reputable news sources verify it. He is apparently blaming a teleprompter glitch which immediately shifted into bragging about how he's so good he doesn't need teleprompters… because he apparently forgot mid-excuse that he was using that as an excuse for bungling the speech.

My anger has shifted from Donald himself, who I still believe is an evil fuckwit, to Mitch McConnell and Rupert Murdoch and all of Fox News and the other evil non-stupid people who are propping him up. Donald is far too incompetent to stay in power if there weren't so many people using him so they can grab more power and make more money behind the scenes.

The front page top story on Yahoo News about the speech didn't even mention the weird airport quote. It was this total fluff piece about him giving a speech to a large crowd.

Maybe the oncologist will write you a scrip for supplemental oxygen right away. Corgiguy's dad had an oxygen concentrating machine that he used and it helped a lot. *hugs*

I am sorry that this process is so wretchedly frustrating on top of being horrid and terrifying. :( (I view the asterisk behind your president's name as... er... representational of something. I assume you mean it the same way (i.e. the view one is presented with by a cat walking away, tail raised)?)

Thank you for the clarification. *ponders* You are correct, being called a cat's rectal pucker is too good for him. Insulting to cats, too.

Wishing you effective immunotherapy drugs soon!
I can't snicker too much at the rain, because in Ottawa at Canada's big 150th anniversary official celebration the same thing happened. Maybe it's nationalism that does it.

Supplemental oxygen seems like a good idea.

Yes, the Schadenfreude machine was working pretty good in this household today. Crazy McTinyhands already sent out a photoshopped pic of the huge crowd. Trouble is, back half of the photo is from a concert and can easily be disproved. Oh, for some reason the National Mall webcam went down!

Those anxiety attacks? It might help if you got a pulse oximeter so that you could see how much oxygen you're getting during the actual detour to hell (also provides useful info for doc). Sometimes, just seeing a reassuring number on that little thing makes the rational brain take over and ends the attack sooner. (speaking from too much experience). Hugs, prayers, all good thoughts, my friend.
