Bright and sunny and cool. Woke up with a headache, which is gradually easing off. Blah.

Finished Creechville (and I should stop calling it that, it's not its real name) last night. Right now it's 17,880 words. I need to go through it with a fine-tooth comb and make sure I haven't committed any enormous plothole gaffes, but I think it'll go up for Halloween. It really feels good to have finished something.

Waiting on coffee to brew.

*cheers for you*

I weight-trained in highschool and a little in college, but never competed. How long have you been at it?

I did it for a couple semesters at the tail end of high school, dropped out of it for three years, then took it up again a little over a year ago. I started with very simple stuff and a fair amount of machine work, then moved onto freeweights and Olympic and powerlifting moves when I realized I'd get a better workout that way.

Kool! Do you do the whole "clean" diet thing, as well? I'm slowly working at getting back in shape. Everytime I see a person in their 60's hobbling around and being stiff it makes me cringe. Don't want to end up like that due to inactivity or something. I feel too young inside for that.
*shivers and shudders* UGH!

No; I eat my fair share of gourmet chocolate and enjoy hard cider and Diet Cokes. But I do my best not to eat food unless I've made it or I know exactly what's in it, which goes a long way towards cutting garbage out of my diet.

My basic dietary rules: eat lots of perishables, and don't eat anything with more than ten ingredients.

I have the same basic philosophy. LOL! Only I don't consume 'diet' or 'fat-free' anything if I can help it. They usually have to add more salt and sugar/substitutes or forms of MSG to make it taste better. :o(

Aspartame, splenda, saccharine etc. are bad for the body and can make one fat because of the chemical reaction going on in the body. I use Kal brand Stevia. See it here: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31CNZ41HR6L._SL500_AA280_.jpg
This bottle is also small enough to carry around with me to restaurants or where-ever else I have to go. Plus it has 905 servings in it! I'll have it for awhile, so the price is worth it.

Stevia is it's own plant, so this sweetener is not a derivative of something else. If you're at all curious about it you can read this article. It's rather lengthy, but worth the read. http://www.puresweet.com.au/Text/1122341279234-2458/pC/1122340120750-4322/HISTORY
