Mostly sunny and cool (a damp 58, with an expected high of 75). Weedy little cilantro plants are sprouting like crazy.

Lasagna turned out really good last night. Watched the first installment of The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency (based on the books by Alexander McCall Smith) on HBO and enjoyed it -- very slow to unfold and with an unusually sweet temperament for an HBO production (heh), but as I told Mr. N it can be nothing but good news for tourism in Botswana. Gorgeous landscape and wildlife, and the people (except for the one bad guy, who was Very Bad, and the married woman who Did Not Want to Know the Truth) were unfailingly polite and virtuous.

Don't think I have to go out today, which is good.
