And it will always be a very few words as long as they keep showing House at 7:00.

Wow, that was really screwed up.

Wilson, you know I love you, but you were being an asshole.

House, you're ... scaring me.

And for pete's sake, I DON'T WANT HOUSE TO BE SICK.

GAH. *grits teeth and makes muffled screaming sounds*

And now we have to make dinner. Which means I can't talk. Because they KEEP SHOWING HOUSE AT 7:00.

OH CRAP I FORGOT WHAT NIGHT IT WAS AND MISSED HOUSE.

The hell of it is that all day I did remember House was on tonight. So it's not as if I even really forgot. It was more like ... I got distracted with this drawing and forgot what time it was. Because House is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON AT SEVEN.

Also, I am an idiot.

*shakes head* Not true. This does not describe you:

Dictionary: id·i·ot (ĭd'ē-ət) n.
A foolish or stupid person.
A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive. [Middle English, ignorant person, from Old French idiote, from Latin idiōta, from Greek idiōtēs, private person, layman, from idios, own, private.]

It says nothing about poor memory recall. You are however, very distractable. Your mind's too busy. I completely forgot House was on last night...because my brain also refuses to remember the new time. I have the same problem so don't sweat it...I'm no idiot either. =D

I don't want House to be sick either, but I didn't think they were implying he was. Do you mean the out-of-focus in the final shot? I thought it meant that House is locked in, like the patient was.
Wilson was doing the same thing to House that House does to him. That didn't bother me.

I hope that's all it is (the implication).

And yeah, you're right about House-stalks-Wilson, Wilson-stalks-House. I don't know why it bothered me this time.

They were stalking each other with remarkable efficiency. I'd love to know what kind of wild-ass lies Wilson told the prison to get it to divulge confidential information about visitors. (Look, they're trampling over legal procedure again!)

I like Taiga's idea, that House also is locked in. Nothing he's tried this season (screwing with everyone's lives/heads, Cuddy, pain relief, psychiatry) has worked and he's stuck where he is.

*nods* It was incredibly efficient. I think the thing that bothered me was that -- if Wilson was seeing a girl who lived in Middletown, why would he keep pressing House about why he was in Middletown? He'd have to know that House would start to wonder if there was something else special about Middletown, in addition to why he was there. It was like waving a raw steak in front of a wolf.

I don't know why it bothered me this time.

It bugged me, too. I mean, I'm sure House would dig up the info if Wilson went to a psychiatrist, and do so with glee. But somehow House going to therapy seems like...a bigger step? An admission of weakness? Something delicate, in any case, that I wish Wilson would have left alone.

He's not sick. HE'S LOCKED IN HIS OWN MIND. :(

...unless you're talking about the preview for next week? My DVR cut off and I didn't catch it.

There's always having the Mister cook/finish dinner while it's on. Hey, works for me (because we get House at 6).

Heh. Wouldn't work -- Mr. N likes to watch House too, and when it's over it's TIME TO MAKE DINNER! So he starts while I write just a tiny bit, and then we make dinner together.

*g*

You should make lots of whatever you have for Sunday dinner, so you can eat leftovers on Monday night.

I missed the episode 'cause I was at work. Stupid 'lege. I'll have to, um, procure the episode and watch it later this week.

Wilson, you know I love you, but you were being an asshole.

Hee. I didn't think so, particularly. He was giving back as good as House gives him, and I believe that House, for all his protests, loved it.

He loved knowing that he had Wilson's attention on that level. And I think it's hilarious how it's only an unconscionable violation of privacy when someone else does these things to House, whereas House believes he ought to have free rein to do all the same stuff to everyone else -- especially Wilson.

I laughed at a fair number of inappropriate sections because it was way too easy to imagine how this would have gone if House could read minds.

It must be nice to have someone to talk to the show about afterward, rushed dinner or otherwise.

*slightly annoyed*

Like Mare, I forgot House was on at 8pm EST so I missed the ep again. But even worse is that I had forgotten it was Monday night, as well. Oh, I could blame it on Aunt Flo or the Vertigo, but honestly? my brain does that. My memory recall mechanism shorts out quite often because my mind is always busy with thoughts and chores I have to remember to do.

i.e. Our local Walmart was once located on a different road than it is now. When they relocated in order to make it into a Super Walmart, I kept driving to the original location out of habit KNOWING it was no longer there, for at least two years! LOL. forgive my run on-don't wanna edit

By the time I begin remembering when House is on, they will change the time again. hee
