Something a bit over 100 degrees, with rain showers popping up on weather radar all around us -- none here, but it's enough to make Chango take refuge in her den anyway. She's just starting to shed, so we've got blots and curlicues of black ink fur everywhere. Will definitely need to vacuum this week.

It's hot enough today that Zippy Cat has come down among the lesser mortals to sprawl on the kitchen floor. And I need to vacuum the back porch because there are clumps of blue-gray Ollie fur on the rugs out there.

Ha, Chango likes to lie on the cool tiles down by the front door, but she prefers the box fan. Which she has come out of her den to lie in front of now. :D

I sometimes think her fur is like cat fur, it can be so long and silky ...
