Partly cloudy, hazy sun, cool and damp at 50 degrees (10 degrees Celsius) and 83% humidity. Need to pick up a few things at the grocery store but finding it hard to get moving.

In much more interesting news, a new edition of Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn is due out -- except it will be missing two words, and they're exactly the ones you think. I haven't read past the first page of comments (the article is in Entertainment Weekly), but the majority on that page are surprisingly civil.

Since last we spoke, I have been Harvey'd and probably will be again before the day is out.

Otherwise, it's a pretty nice day, although it looks like it might rain tonight.

I have not been Harvey'd. Instead, I have been cuddled by a sleepy happy Z, who is now napping, and I'm about to start installing software on this Beast in order to complete our transfer of All Things Important. :)

Why one would want to leave those words out is a mystery to me. That's how people spoke at the time. it should be preserved, in all it's racist ugliness. What are they going to scour for offensive material next? Mein Kampf?
