Sunny and steamy. 88 degrees (31.1 Celsius), feels as if it's 97. Which is very true, because I was just out in the backyard refilling the spare feeder for the squirrels bigger birds. The burst of dove feathers was still there; Chango sniffed at them but took no further interest. Alarm went off at 4:30 so Mr. N could make his 7 a.m. flight to Miami -- I tossed and turned for a while and then fell into a long, complicated dream that ended with Wilson lying to a butcher behind a meat counter at a grocery store and thinking to himself that he was becoming just like House. And no, I have no idea what he was lying about. WTF, dream?

Was messing around with Photobucket yesterday and made a few icons -- they're under the cut if anyone would like one. I don't claim any of them are any good, but I thought I'd share. *g* Sources are referenced and all are work-safe. None are fandom-related.

Art Deco
This is something called an "Art Deco topper." It's a sidebar graphic from The Errant Aesthete.

Snowy Brooklyn Bridge
Brooklyn Bridge in snow; photo by Michael Magill from The Errant Aesthete.

Photobucket
Also from The Errant Aesthete, the mouseover just says this is "Chez_Mondrian.sc."

Art of Kissing
This is from A Journey Round my Skull, which always has a lot of strange stuff.

And finally ...

Photobucket
Matisse's goldfish, swimming forever in a clear glass tankard. From a Google Search image, here.

So. Nothing else at the moment.

Maybe they're both on clinic duty and House is getting all the highly routine 'get-em in and out' ear infections and sore throats, and Wilson is getting people who see visions of God and think the city of Princeton is putting plutonium in the water supply. :D

They later find out it's Brenda and her nurses directing the 'interesting' ones over to Wilson and the 'human interest' ones to House as revenge for spiking their coffee with Jell-O. The cherry kind.

Or it's some fundraiser event and Wilson's been cornered, repeatedly, by some crazy parent of a former patient. Who is telling him their entire life story and all about who they used to be in their past lives and why it's totally true that the government plotted 9/11 with the help of Israel.

"And the sad part is," Wilson will say, later, "their kid's perfectly sane."

Or ... you know what I could do? Wilson has a series of crazy clinic patients, and the last one is NotAnthrax!Guy, from that old WIP.

Weirdest case for the last. And since the guy is a tabloid publisher, he could've written all that past life/9/11 stuff. *ponders*

Although I don't think he could've published the Israel conspiracy stuff.

I'm afraid my memory of that particular character is pretty hazy.
