OTHERWISE. Read Lisa Halliday's Asymmetry, and ... I didn't care for it. I didn't think it was some great groundbreaking work of clever metafiction, which is pretty much what the major reviews have said. I mean, I'm sure it's not a good sign when I close a book thinking that the best part was a quoted paragraph from Hannah Arendt's Eichmann in Jerusalem. :-(
Anyway, now reading Luis Alberto Urrea's Queen of America, which is a sequel to his The Hummingbird's Daughter. :D
