Cool morning, dog is expressing her happiness by bringing a tennis ball in the house, dropping it and chasing it.

Need to do domestic stuff today -- changing sheets on bed, sweeping, etc.

Isn't it Thanksgiving yet?

You! I dreamt I met you last night. I was visiting and you'd made dinner and we (you & me & Mr. N.) were sitting down for it. It was going to be very nice, although my backpack was under the table and as we toed it out of the way, my laundry showed. Anyway, you were very sweet, and I commented on your lovely haircut and that it hadn't been what I'd pictured when you post about getting your hair cut short. And you didn't look like you. (Even though I don't know what you actually look like. Weird, huh?)

*back to frantically finishing big assignment*

Cool and cloudy over here. Lots to do, so I'd better go make food and coffee, pronto.

How's your ankle? Don't try and do too much at one time.

*anxious-grandma sounds*

Aw, you're so cute. My ankle is doing vastly better. Still a little swollen and sore, but the limp is barely noticeable now.

Don't fret, I won't be running any 500-yard dashes anytime soon. Mostly the stuff I must do is art and blog-related stuff.

cold and sunny. i have some podcasts, my morning braingames, two cats, a movie (encounters at the end of the world; it's about antarctica) a bunch of knitting to do (i bought some patterns from the mochimochiland store (http://www.mochimochiland.com/shop) to make as Christmas gifts) and the kid has early dismissal again (sigh - every day between now and thanksgiving. ugh). I should also be packing. But I'm clearly not. Maybe later today.
and I am feeling somewhat better than yesterday, although still annoyed at the entire situation. :( but i have a small plotbunny loping around in the pen so maybe it'll be okay.)

Glad you're feeling a little better. I think I've heard of that Antarctica movie -- it sounds good.

And yay for loping plotbunnies! Hee.

Hello!

I'm home with Z today--the poor kid has been backsliding with her cold, and she's been coughing up a storm for the past couple days. And since the Mr has already taken 20 hours of sick time this pay period, it's really my turn. SO I got the students watching a video today, and hopefully I can be back and we'll all be at full strength again tomorrow.

I also have plotbunnies galore. And grading. And writing to do. And domestic stuff. When all I really want to do is write on my bunnies and maybe read some fic.

Oh, poor Z! It sounds like you all are really juggling the bundles of sharp swords in terms of commitments.

*hugs*

I'm off work early today, by virtue of working like a maniac yesterday and this morning, and wildly celebrated this unaccustomed mid-day freedom by running errands.

St. P's is having its Thanksgiving meal tonight and we Corgifolk have all been invited. I suspect The Padre may want me to stand up while he says something nice about the 8th anniversary of my employment with them, which will be nice and make me squirm at the same time.
