Well, that's different. It's overcast and 82 right now, with a predicted high of 92. Yes, please, and thank you. Of course it's supposed to be 98 tomorrow and 100 over the weekend, but it's not that steady, consecutive string of 100+ temps we've been having, and that is such a relief.
Not sure what's on the agenda today besides staying home. Maybe I can write a little (I hope) -- at the least I can start on my new book. Have decided to forego the fiction for the moment and read Rick Atkinson's Day of Battle, which is about the battles for Sicily and Italy in WWII.
And so it goes, with coffee.

Date: 2008-08-06 05:55 pm (UTC)Heh. No need to apologize; I think it's the Great White North equivalent of Florida's seashell/pelican art. However, if it'll pay my horse board for a month, why not?
I've been upstairs working on my files for my business & personal checking accounts. Great big honking mess, largely due to the depression I'd been suffering back home. I'm in a position now where I really have to take control of my life in a whole new way, and I think it'll be good for me.
I'm actually thinking of proposing a series of articles to the Star-Tribune, a "snowbird in reverse" kind of thing about the adventures and trials of being an artist and moving up from Florida rather than down.
