... for fighting in the street, boy --
But what can a poor boy do?
'Cept to sing for a rock 'n' roll band,
'Cause in sleepy London town
There's just no place for a street fighting man --
No!
Why, yes, I jacked up the radio and sang along. There's life in the old Nightdog yet. Heh.
Got a couple of things accomplished today, which is good, and one of the errands I was dreading turned out okay, which is even better. AT&T admitted they didn't know how my cell phone service got cancelled and fixed it. And I got a haircut. Thank God.
And so the world turns ... hee.

Date: 2008-07-30 11:37 pm (UTC)This year's registration was a whole 'nother kind of fun because some idiot working in the counselor's office hit Reset on the computerized scheduling program and half of the completed schedules for the entire student body went "poof."

Date: 2008-07-31 02:42 am (UTC)Hee. And until I actually looked up the lyrics this afternoon, I'd always heard that line as "the time is right for violent revolution."
