I've seen many cases of shingles, but I also had the distinctly unpleasant experience of seeing my sister battle with it for months. To be honest, it turned my stomach a little. You shouldn't worry overmuch about it though. Shingles are usually content to stay where they are (so to speak). Just remember to pay a little more attention to your eyes.
