Bright sun and a bit warmer -- 84 degrees (28.9 Celsius). Had French toast and sausage for breakfast; Mr. N got strawberries yesterday for me to make jam.
Read first chapter of the Pearl Buck bio -- very good so far. Still blundering about at Dreamwidth, running into things and knocking things over. *g*
Otherwise all the usual -- laundry day, etc. Here's an interesting story from the LA Times on an unexpected fallout from the Gulf oil spill: Saving the healing herbs of the bayou.
Much of the land of the native Houma people is now underwater, and after the oil spill, one healer's great-grandson fears that the traditional plants once used to save the ill will soon be lost too.
