Sunny and a bit cooler than the past couple of days -- 79 degrees (26.1 Celsius), with a light breeze out of the north.
Still reading Lyndall Gordon's life of Mary Wollstonecraft -- finished Chapter 7 last night, which covered Wollstonecraft's writing of Vindication of the Rights of Woman, in an age when a wife, her money, and her children belonged to her husband, and marital rape was no crime. Add to that the belief that women's minds would be corrupted if they read science, history, politics, or anything approaching "real" literature (women were supposed to read bad romances, advice books on how to be a good wife and please your husband, and religious tracts on a woman's place in the world), and, as Gordon sums it up --

So. Need to do a few things, the usual blah blah. :-)
