Sunny and warm -- 86 degrees (30 degrees Celsius). Need to refill the bird feeders -- one is 99% empty and a squirrel knocked the bottom off the other. Devious little bastards.

Feeling much better and it's such a relief.

Not much else at the moment, so have a badger in a post office.

A word of caution, though -- don't take this quiz unless you've got AT LEAST a half-hour to spend on it. The site is apparently VERY busy and it timed out more than once. It also may take a while to load. It's fun in a nerdy kind of way, though.

ETA that ... guys, the Dow just plummeted OVER 900 POINTS in a matter of minutes. CNN is saying it's because of the Greek crisis. It's coming back up slowly (as I type this, it's down 517), but holy shit.

The Dow Jones Falls Off a Cliff

See that? That's the Dow falling almost 1,000 points in the space of about ten minutes. It's coming back up (it's down about 460 right now). The news and financial guys are talking about the Greek crisis and a possible series of fat-fingered transactions in which Proctor & Gamble and Apple (and some other companies) stock prices suddenly plunged -- the latter for no reason.

ETA that CNBC is reporting human error as the culprit. Someone at one of the major trading firms ... entered a "B" instead of an "M" on the trade. Which made it BILLIONS instead of MILLIONS. And now the Dow is rising (mostly). LOL! ETA PART TWO that multiple sources are naming Citigroup as the winner of the Doofus of the Trading Day Award.
