Wednesday

So. I can now say I know why House loves him his Vicodin so much. Wow. Was having some moderate pain late last night so I took one -- it started to kick in within ten minutes. It didn't really help me sleep but I didn't care. Heh. I floated on a nice big puffy cloud most of the night and was perfectly happy. No wonder it's a Schedule III drug that people buy on the street. Damn. Now have to eat a little something pretty soon so I can take my big blue horse pill (Valtrex).

Lots and lots of thunder last night, which added somewhat to the pleasure of floating on that big puffy cloud. Now it's cloudy and damp and cooler than yesterday (58 degrees) with more rain forecast. Luckily, I don't think I have to get out today.

Blah

A mostly wasted day. The drugs are making me very tired and blah, the Valtrex almost as much as the Vicodin.

Two good things, though. Started reading Stephen King's Duma Key and the biography of the poet Delmore Schwartz that I'd ordered came today. Yay.

Dog is still hiding in her kennel due to weather.

I can't help but find it funny that the EvilBadGirl!Character on Law & Order tonight is named Claire Tomalin.
