It was supposed to be nice and warm today

It was not nice and warm. It was chilly and grey and very, very wet. Nevertheless, the bush cherry plant that I bought in February of last year is blooming!



Not a great pic, but oh well. And what you can't see is that there are a ton of little pink buds on the other branches.





It was hard to get any pic at all of her because she was bouncing around all over the place. That's an elderly (and sprawling) rosemary plant and a young arbequina olive tree in the pots to the left.

Omg, isn't that first little bloom awesome? Of course, it's supposed to turn crazy cold (for us, anyway) and drop into the 20s at night for three straight nights starting Sunday night, so I'll have to bring it and a few of the other plants inside. (Whips out Fahrenheit/Celsius converter. Um. Minus six point seven. :D)

Spring cannot come soon enough, Topaz. I am ready for these grey skies to BEGONE.

Yeah, spring needs to get a move on. Or at least make up its mind. Constant teasing is Not Fun.

What is this non-evergreen greenery I am seeing... *squints* and is that liquid water? LOL. It's due to be [expletive deleted] -26C here tomorrow. Remind me again, why did I come to this country? ;D
