The SUN came out today! It was still cool, but I got out and got a haircut (YAY!) and then stopped by the store for a few items. And on the way home I saw an ENORMOUS white heron standing in a neighborhood pond. :D

It was so good to see the sun again.

It started raining here this afternoon and didn’t stop, but that seems to be an incoming Tolerable Front (as one friend of mine calls it, noting that in Florida the front is rarely cold). Tomorrow is expected to be pretty nice.

Have you ever seen those big herons hunting lizards or mice or snakes? It’s fascinating, and you can really see the calculating, cold-blooded dinosaur ancestry.

Edit: Also Mom and I have been watching Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, and I really do love Phryne Fisher.

YAY SUNSHINE AND HERONS

YAY PHRYNE FISHER (I've watched a couple episodes, clearly I need to watch more?)

It was sunny here today, too, and I got not as much done as I would have liked. :D

Currently the Mr and Z are watching Baby Mama, which is the kind of embarrassing comedy that I really...can't.
