Middling

Urgh and blah. It is marginally less hot today due to intermittent cloud cover, but it's still humid and steamy outside. Makes it hard to muster up the energy to do anything. :-P

On the other hand, birds have been coming to the water dish. Just now saw a couple of house finches, and then a big, handsome blue jay.

Have been reading Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff and am almost finished with it.

Raining here tonight. I’m at my friend’s place where I am house-sitting for the Shy Dog and Clingy Cat. And I am drinking beer. More than I otherwise would: She left me a freaking GROWLER and if I don’t get through it in a day or two it will go flat.

I actually had no idea how much beer was in a growler, and I had to Google it. And yeah, that is MORE BEER THAN I WOULD USUALLY DRINK IN ONE SITTING. Because I would normally just have one beer. I could do two, but that would be pushing it, and three ... no. Not in one sitting. LOL
