We did not overlap much. I have read Alan Cummings memoir, Pale Fire, The Right Stuff and A Child in Time.

My own list is so disorganized! Gotta get better about that.

I think there are some books in this list you would really like! Hideo Yokoyama's Six Four is an EXCELLENT Japanese police procedural with a very surprising ending, and I loved Paraic O'Donnell's The House on Vesper Sands -- it is a THUMPING GOOD read, set in 1890s England with a terrific cop called Inspector Cutter trying to solve multiple murder mysteries. Vesper Sands is good enough that I really hope a sequel is in the works. :D
