Transferred all the rest of the tomatoes to bigger pots -- they're big and strong, and it's still hard to believe tiny seeds = actual growing plants. The peppers are still pretty small, so I'm hoping the heat of summer gives them a boost. The Thai basil is doing well -- the leaves have a faint scent of licorice, which is nice. Best of all, it's supposed to rain this evening.

Have been reading The 5th Wave, by Rick Yancey. It's a post-apocalypse, aliens-invade-the-earth, "young adult" novel, and if there were a special prize for "page-turner," this book would win. Don't stop to think about the plot for more than five minutes, though, or you may throw it across the room. :D

ETA that oh, LJ, you are such an unreliable shitbox of a platform ... it's not running slow, you idiots, it's NOT RUNNING AT ALL. Feh.

It's unintentionally funny that LJ is composed of "13 user clusters." We can mine those three words for irony like WHOA. :D

I've only literally thrown a book across the room once, My Sister's Keeper by Jodi P-something.

That's an awful thought if they all end the way My Sister's Keeper did!
