Partly cloudy, warm and humid. The sun keeps trying to come out.

Ran across this photo yesterday and liked it a lot. Antlers, by an artist named Andrej Glusgold. Reminds me of Magritte and Frida Kahlo.

Feel like looking at some of my WIPs and seeing if anything will talk to me. But must also bake a small blackberry cake. As one does.

I'd seen that print before but did not remember the artist. Lovely, spooky stuff.

We're still running a one-patient dog hospital, but I did manage to get the whole house dustmopped and vacuumed yesterday. Got leftover chili for supper and I might make a pan of brownies afterward.

Mmm, we made chili a couple of nights ago with an absolutely DELICIOUS chili powder from Penzey's (your gift card FTW!!!), but I think we're going to cook burgers tonight on the grill. Mister Nightdog raked some of the leaves in the backyard, and Chango helped. A lot. ;-)
