Well now. That's actually a scenario I thought of a few nights ago as I was trying to go to sleep. I thought the reason would be House's leaving the state, though -- that he would turn himself in in order to force Wilson's hand. This is ... different (I'm not sure if it's necessarily more interesting or not, and I'm sorry but I can't help thinking those plumbers are the most inept in the State of New Jersey).

Major, major kudos to RSL for crying like a real person, with lots of noisy snuffles and breathless honks, and to the writers for having the guts to GO THERE with the "I need you to tell me that love me" line. I do still think this whole chemo = pain idea they've latched onto is ... regrettable.

Kudos to HL for yelling like he meant it.

The PotW was intriguing at first, and then I kind of lost interest in him. The whole point was he learns to let his brother go, but he'll still be able to remember him through his mom's stories and photos? Okay, thanks for that. Oy.

Still thinking about the ep, so nothing else right now.

Oh, wait. Wilson is 46. New canon.

Me too, when they talked about camping and hiking - I just never would have thought they'd do that. An interesting glimpse into what their lives were like before the infarction.
What I like about this storyline is that it's forcing House to change and grow. It's the biggest challenge of his life (except maybe the infarction and Stacy leaving?), and he's meeting it. He's being the friend Wilson needs. Maybe at the end of it he can be a man who doesn't need Wilson to tell him not to strangle patients.

Yes, this. :)

The 8000-foot mountain reminded me of that episode where House had all the grand plans for his vacation, including sherpas taking him up Mount Everest. Hee.
