Sunny, clear, and still a bit chilly out (59 degrees, 15 degrees Celsius). Have been reading The Keats Brothers: The Life of John and George, and enjoying it greatly. Taking it slow so that I actually remember what happens from one chapter to the next. There was a glowing review of this book in the NY Times, and I'm glad I picked it up.

... was interesting. I'm just hoping the writers aren't thinking of Chekhov's Law:

A gun introduced in the first act must be fired by the third.

Also, I have been in a good mood since Friday. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME OMG. :-D

:D

Hopefully the good mood will become nothing remarkable through sheer persistence.

I thought the same thing about Chekhov's Law! I would be surprised if it's brought up again, though :)
I had to run out to pick up a parcel. FedEx thinks that the best way to ship a package from Oregon to Alberta is through Memphis. I was in a hurry because a winter storm is on its way. Everything is calm right now, but we're supposed to have 10 cm snow by morning.
I'm glad you're in a good mood! I'm in a rush to get my book club books read so I can get them back to the library before I leave for Christmas vacation.

Now they're calling for 5 cm. It hasn't started yet.
Hey, Google says it's Mark Twain's birthday!

Perhaps the good mood comes from knowing no one will be poisoning you this week? *hugs*

The book about the Keats brothers looks fascinating. I had no idea John Keats had relatives in America.

I'm currently reading "The Tiger's Wife," which is ending up on a lot of "best fiction" lists for the year. Only about 50 pages into it, but it's really good so far.
