It is 81 degrees (27.2 degrees Celsius) and we have the back door and all the windows open. Oh my god it is so WONDERFUL.
Starting chemo tomorrow -- four treatments with a three-week interval between each. It was actually not an absolute requirement that I do this. The choice was left up to me. The way I look at it, I don't want a recurrence two or three or ten or eleven years down the road, and this is the best way to prevent that. Of course, nothing is 100%. Sometimes people do everything right and it still comes back. Sometimes people do everything wrong and it doesn't. But at least this way I'll know I tried. :-)
Meanwhile, in the category of Beautiful Things, isn't this the most awesome knitted cap EVER? Scroll down a bit for the equally awesome animated GIF.

Date: 2011-09-05 09:05 pm (UTC)That cap is quite wonderful. I'd like to have one like it -- only without the tassel bit (I realize it's so that you can spin the cap around, but still).
