Overcast and very humid. Need to run a couple of errands; didn't get out at all yesterday because the blues sneaked up on me.

Interesting news -- NBC Sports king Dick Ebersol resigns. Looks like Lisa Edelstein wasn't the only one having contract-negotiation troubles with Comcast.

I know nothing about Ebersol, but I do know a few things about Comcast.

Currently, I use Qwest for internet service, and they are passing off their accounts in this area to a new company called Centurylink, which already bought out Embarq a few years back. Comcast is running a scare campaign: HEY QWEST CUSTOMERS! DON'T LET THEM PASS YOU OFF TO SOME COMPANY YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT!11! COME TO US NOW!!!

In other words, stick with the devil you know? No thanks, Comcast. I know you too well.

Yeah, I saw those ads and laughed. Hey, Comcast? Yeah, I know you. Why do you think I went with Qwest in the first place?

What's up dog? ;)
I hope you get all your errands done today.
*wonders if Chango is barking at the wind today*

Yeah, so back from the bank, tampon run at the store and fern hunt at the library. Happy to say, I found everything I needed. However, I really resemble my icon with the exception that im in my paint clothes. hee

Lunch first, then a brief nap and hopefully some more paint slinging this evening. :•)

As do I, but I'm actually wondering if I'm fighting a mild bug or something, because the desire to NOT MOVE is so strong. :-P

I wanted to rest yesterday but couldn't -- had to prepare for and then go teach class. And tomorrow's going to be prep and then the fundraiser auction thing.

I feel kind of sore and inert today. Going out and walking/jogging two miles may not have been the smartest move, but it felt good at the time.

ETA that I have now accomplished something. I've touched up, spray-fixed, mounted and matted the Haflinger Pony pastel. Packing it to ship is going to be, um, interesting.

Back from the nap. Now I gotta feed miss kitteh and then myself.
Then: PAINT! I'll just have to ignore my discomfort. I have three Marines so I ought to be able to suck-it-up and get this thing done. hee

Did you get you errands done? *g*

Oh, I know how pricey Honey has gotten. I'm one of those gals who has to have it to go in ALL the tea she drinks. Heh. It totally sucks.

And yes those things 'are' a pain to open. (pets your head gently)
I'm glad for you that it's over with now. :/

Supper, finally. Will chat you up later, Tater. Enjoy your evening, hon.

Honey is very expensive. I started buying it at Aldi in those little bear-shaped bottles because the larger ones were just too high.

We got so fed up with AT&T suddenly hiking the bill $50 a month for no reason at St. P's that we switched TO Comcast for ISP and phones. So far it's working fine. *crosses fingers* But now I kinda feel badly about supporting a company that's forcing some good folks out of their jobs.

I got a whole lot of stuff done at work today and now I'm really very tired.
