How did it get to be 1:30 already? I need to go to the post office and the grocery store. At least it's beautiful outside.

I just made it work by setting a timer for 30 minutes and seeing if I could finish the kitten-tweaking in that amount of time. I couldn't, quite, but it got me focused, and now I think it's really really really done. They're in the oven. And the far-left kitten now has the correct number of toes on both front paws instead of only on one.

And I have to get ready and head for the Highland Villager offices and say hello.

My watch chirped three times a few minutes ago and I said, "That can't possibly be right." It was.

I had another "Roll the Bones" moment today while waiting in the drugstore to pick up my brother's meds. A couple came in with the cutest little baby boy. The mom was very young, like barely out of high school, and the father was in his 30s. He was tickling the baby and saying, "Hey there, Seven. That's my good boy, Seven." I about fell off the bench. :D

I listened closely after the first time he said it, and it was definitely Seven. Children have been named stranger things -- there was some bizarre craze going here a few years ago with people naming their baby girls after cars: Camry, Mirage, Lexus, Mystique. So Seven's not too bad compared to that! :D

I'm looking at ND's post about already being 2:30 only to find out it's already 4:20!!!
I forgot to set my phone alert so I could do a couple other things besides the fern painting practice sketch, before going to Dr. Sketchy's tonight! =O

Everything else will have to wait for another day!
