nightdog_barksMuch cooler today and damp -- 64 degrees (17.8 degrees Celsius) with 73% humidity, with a chance of more thunderstorms firing up later this afternoon. Doing housely things and occasionally watching the Shiba Inu puppy-cam, which has returned with six new puppies. :-D

Making homemade (potluck) vegetable soup today.

Date: 2011-04-26 10:45 pm (UTC)I had the following on hand: red onion, tomatoes, red peppers, zucchini, fresh corn on the cob, garlic cloves and a box of chicken broth. I picked up carrots and ground beef at the store to add to it. I also have a small helping of Mac n beef that's got to go in after it's done simmering. Will add some Cilantro & a bit of Basil shortly. Lots of sweet flavored veggies in this one, so we'll see how it turns out. :)
Salt and pepper can be added at the table.
