There's a commercial at the beginning for another show, but this is an extended clip of several scenes from Born Yesterday. Almost all of them feature RSL. :-D
Yeah, I'm assuming that's why his voice sounds different -- in one of those interviews that've popped up over the past week, he said that it was hard on his voice to go from doing the play to shooting scenes for House, so I think he has to really project in one case and speak "normally" in the other.
The actress is Nina Arianda, and from the reviews at Broadwayworld I've seen, people are RAVING about her! I really liked her in that "How old do you think I am" scene. *g*
The film is a lot of fun, although from what I've read it's somewhat different from the play. Judy Holliday is terrific in it -- she was an amazing actress who died way too young.
I though the timing was really off in that "How soon can you start" scene with Jim Belushi, although he seemed to pick it up in the later scenes. The show doesn't actually open until tomorrow, so this is a preview performance. So they still have time (and room) for improvement. :-)
