I should go out to a local drugstore and fill a prescription. I really don't want to, mostly on the grounds it won't be as simple as paying overdue library fines.

I've spent most of the day on the phone with Satan's Own Telephone Company (aka AT&T) and the gas company trying to get St. P's bills whittled down. Between that and My Constant Visitor in the office this morning, I'm about ready to pull my hair out.

I've paid a few bills that I'll take to the post office tomorrow, and I have a few other housely things I need to do. Hiding is still good, though.

It's definitely one of those days. Just finished mailing off estimated tax checks to the IRS and the state. Now I need a stiff drink.

I absolutely loved The Poisoner's Handbook, by the way. It was an enthralling read. I'm so glad I saw it on your journal!

I'm so glad you enjoyed The Poisoner's Handbook! I loved it too, and I'd love to read more by the author. Right now I'm just reading The Frozen Rabbi, which is quite good. Apparently in my dotage I can only actively read one book at a time. Sigh.

I went to get my teeth cleaned, x-rayed, and checked for only $40. at our local community college's dental hygiene school. They found '4' small cavities I need to have filled as soon as I'm able to pay for it.
Its not enough to be wonky in the head, I gotta rot my teeth because of it?
