Warm and mostly sunny, a bit more humid. On the road this morning, driving Mr. N back from a doctor's appointment 30 miles away. If I tell you it was at an endoscopy clinic, I'll bet you can guess why I had to be the chauffeur. Heh, the miracles of propofol and Versed. Anyway, he's fine.
Very interesting interview with Robert Sean Leonard here. Take the headline with a grain of salt, but still, very interesting. To be honest, to me the interview isn't very spoilery to anyone who's been following this season, but. If you are concerned about spoilers, don't read the interview. Credit to What_box? over at HHoW, which is where I first saw this (although now it's on house_wilson and rsl_daily as well (on LJ).
Also ... man arrested for barking at police dog. His excuse? The dog started it. :-D

Date: 2011-04-07 07:50 pm (UTC)Wow, RSL. I don't know what to think about the show any more, but I'm glad he's getting to do theatre again. And it tickles me that he and Gabby are so frugal. We've always joked about him showing up at photo ops in a slightly shabby blazer, and now we know why. &hearts

Date: 2011-04-07 08:49 pm (UTC)I always wake up lucid and ready to go after a procedure, but Corgiguy is a whole different story. He talks about strange things and sees stuff that's not there. It's entertaining in an unsettling kind of way. :D

Date: 2011-04-07 07:53 pm (UTC)I'm torn on this. It'd be nice if the show were renewed, but at the same time I kinda don't want it to be. Creatively, what else can the writers cover that hasn't been done? Plus, financially, House is in the same boat as 24 was in its final season: older show, falling ratings, expensive to produce upfront. It's no wonder FOX has been balking at taking over production from NBC/Universal. Just have to wait, I guess.

That's the way I feel. :-)

Date: 2011-04-08 05:30 am (UTC)I'll watch if they renew it, but it's about time to put it to bed, IMO. If they'd played things out differently, establishing a universe in which people could and did change, I think we'd still have places to go, but as it is they are running in circles.
I'm having a lot more fun in our AUs.

Date: 2011-04-08 04:35 pm (UTC)So that they could close whatever needs closing, have RSL finish his theater stint, maybe have TBTB put it together enough to send the show off on a high note.
I love RSL position that he loves money "very. very much". I truly enjoy his interviews.
