Lackluster sun, breezy and cool at 58 degrees (14.4 Celsius). Chango wanted lots of petting this morning and is dozing at my feet. Lots of housely stuff to do today, then maybe I can reward myself with a quick trip to Barnes & Noble for the new Stephen King book. We'll see.

Nothing else right now.

It's cold, so of course Chango's going to want petting.

Late fall and early winter were some of my favorite times with Maggie. She'd get really friendly and cuddly because I give off a lot of body heat.

When Chango wants some affection, she'll just come over and insinuate herself into whatever you're doing. "You don't need to walk into the bathroom right now! Stop, so I can lean against your legs!"

I've been out sloshing around in the rain getting stuff done today. It's supposed to keep raining for another day and then magically clear up. :)

I've folded and put away all the laundry from yesterday and am now vacuuming. I'm thinking the B&N trip will have to wait, but I still might make a quick run to the store. And we might get some rain tonight!

I'm back from the farmers' market, laden with produce, and I've got so many raw ingredients I'm eager for dinnertime to get here so I can start cooking.

There's housely stuff on my agenda too, and speaking of which, I should go get change for the laundry machines.

Yay farmers' market! I think we're just going to do something easy for dinner, which in this case means pulling a steak out of the freezer. Which ... I need to do so it'll be thawed.

The sun made some effort on our behalf this morning, but soon sighed and gave up.

It wasn't at all a bad day, though. I mean, other than the whole not-getting-any-lunch thing, which I'm about to make up for now that I'm at Hound House.

The sun came out for a while today, then retreated and it got steadily darker throughout the afternoon. Never got to B&N or the store, but I did get some essential housely stuff done.

I got to see a spectacular pink/orange neon sun setting huge over Lake Minnetonka today -- that misty winter sky and the shore all full of snow.

It was gorgeous.

And if I haven't mentioned it, I keep liking these clients more and more. Homeowner and her sister, English, delightful.
