Yesterday was good, today ... not so much. Headachey and blah, emotions too close to the surface, grrr. If I see an ASPCA commercial with homeless puppies in it I swear I will burst into tears. Menopause, how you vex me.

96 degrees (35.6 Celsius) and sunny. Doing housely stuff, will need to go to the store a little later. Bah, humbug.

Oh, God, I routinely change the channel when that ad comes on. DO NOT WANT. Ditto the Pedigree ads narrated by Mulder.

Lol, yes, the Pedigree ads too. Plus I'm just sick of the local ads that are so annoying, like the DalWorth Cleaning commercial with the dogs and the boppity-boppity-handclap commercial for the ch. 5 morning news. EVERYTHING IS GETTING TO ME TODAY.

... ahem. *g*

Might be time to put on a DVD or music or something instead of the TV.

I've done my errands and it's not even 4 in the afternoon yet! That's kind of weird, for me. Off to cross those off my List Post now.

Yeah, I know those kinds of days well. The only upside is that sometimes I get some good creative work out of it.

Your icon is FTW, though.

Okay, got to go do the bank/post office jaunt, which fortunately isn't far, because it's a sauna out there now that the sun's out.

Heh, I like that icon, although I wish the lettering was a bit sharper. I think it's from boingboing, but I'd have to check.

Yeah, I was thinking about writing a little but I may not have time this afternoon.

Already feeling a little better just from having vented. :-)

The icon is from a graphic that appeared in a Daily Kos (http://www.dailykos.com/) article -- please feel free to take!

That ASPCA commercial has made me loathe Sarah McLachlan like a nasty loathing thing. Somebody needs to put a STUN/KILL setting on TV remotes.

The looney-tuness of my workday did not improve and got worse at 20 minutes 'til leaving time. I began actually considering ways to bring a refreshing adult beverage with lunch tomorrow.

Yeah, I support the ASPCA's mission, but I resent the blatant emotional manipulation and I won't watch those stupid ads.

And I wasn't a fan of McLachlan to start with, and this? Does not help.
