Also, in the seventh comment to this article ("VIDEO OF SCHOOL APOLOGY"), there was apparently a protest at the school today, and supposedly the principal and school superintendent apologized and promised to have the mural ... un-lightened. Another report is here (full disclosure: it's from a partisan site).

In other news, it hit 100 (37.8 Celsius) here today. *g*
