Cloudy, humid, and warm. 83 degrees (28.3 Celsius). A squirrel just galloped across the roof, but Chango is dozing in her den.
Need to get out and do a few things, so I'll just mention that Rand Paul is at it again and get going -- Paul says criticizing BP for the Gulf oil spill is un-American. Why? Because sometimes, accidents just happen. No, really. Of course, sometimes companies cut corners, and endanger their employees, and proceed to shamelessly lie about it. But we won't talk about that, because the President is being mean to British Petroleum.
Holy crap, I don't even.
Guess they decided to press the reset button. Heh.

Date: 2010-05-21 06:52 pm (UTC)My BFF came over this morning with her beautiful new grandson and the grandson's mommy. Aside from the wild 45 minutes of housekeeping we did before they got here, it's been a quiet day. And now it's chilly and thundering.

Date: 2010-05-21 08:37 pm (UTC)It's seriously amazing. But now he is making it almost too easy - every counter-argument sounds like a "stating the obvious"-contest. On the other hand, I'm afraid there is a very pronounced "sacrificing people for principles" attitude behind this, and that's rather dangerous.
