Sunny and much cooler at 69 degrees (20.5 C), with a light breeze out of the east northeast. Humidity is only 24% so it's nice and crisp. It almost feels like a day in early fall.

Have a few things to do, so here's an interesting story about a valuable WWI painting discovered on Antiques Roadshow (the UK version) -- it was signed 'Nepro Mailliw' and depicted a beautiful woman ...

Greetings! It's nice here too, 7'C.
This week I started reading James Mitchener's The Source and I'm planning on devoting my weekend to it. My brother insisted I had to read it and I'm so glad he did, it's fascinating.

Aw, Michener can be a lot of fun to read! I remember really enjoying Centennial. I don't think I ever read The Source, though ...

Hullo!

I'm packing for a camping trip with the fam. Ugh. Oh well, we'll like...bond.

It's a similarly beautiful day here. We've been out shopping and I'm about to put on my gardening shoes and go see what help the mister needs cleaning up the back yard.

I need to run out and get a Sunday newspaper and probably do some laundry, since Mr. N will finally be home tomorrow.

Hi! It's cold here--45F right now!--and I'm just finishing up the grocery list. Would have been and gone, but I got sucked into a movie the Mr was watching, heh. Z will be up soon, and we'll see if she wants to come with me.

The Mr and Z bought me a BEAUTIFUL birdbath for Mother's Day! :) (Although I may still order a wooly pocket for my wall...)

Hi Perspi!

I am FINALLY getting ready to have a very late lunch and go get a paper ... I was going to go earlier but I got caught up in writing in the Wolf-verse again.

YAY for a birdbath! That is such a great thing to have in the yard -- the birds will love you!

A ... woolly pocket? Like a kangaroo? *is puzzled*

I'd gotten the link from phinnia, I think, but it's a fabric bag-thing that you hang on the wall for vertical gardening. And there's a spot in our family room that will beperfect for growing basil and such, and hanging it up will mean that the cats and the kid will leave it alone...

Oh! Okay, that sounds really cool! Thyme and oregano might do nicely in something like that too (they have pretty small leaves and could trail over the sides).
