Cooler (52 degrees, 11.11 C) and very damp. It's not raining, per se, but it's wet. Need to go to the store today for a few things ...

Wrote a small episode tag for last night's ep, will put it up sometime today.

Hey, yay, an episode tag! I thought the ambiguity of Wilson's response to House's liking the organ would be really interesting to explore.

*g* Yeah, the more I thought about that, the more interesting it was. House was really happy, and I was glad about that, but at the same time ... he told Wilson to buy something that was a reflection of Wilson, and what Wilson got was something House would like, and House was delighted. And I think Wilson saw that, and had some very conflicting feelings about it. I mean, I loved the whole scene. Just loved it. And I liked the episode a lot. But I think there was some much deeper stuff going on there at the end, that you can't just say "House ♥ Wilson" or "Wilson ♥ House" and leave it at that.

Sadly, this tag isn't about any of that. LOL!

Yeah! Like, I didn't see Wilson as happy at all with House's response! He seemed really reserved and internally conflicted. Then I went around my flist and saw that most people thought he was making lovey-dovey eyes at House, which I missed entirely. More details in my ep-reaction post, but mainly, yes, what you said!

Hee, but there was plenty in the ep to write tags about. Like HOW MUCH I ♥ TAUB.

I do think House and Wilson love each other, albeit in their own internally-warped, screwed-up kind of way. And maybe Wilson thought House needed a visible expression of love, and that's why he got the organ. Or maybe he got it as an experiment, to see what House's reaction would be, and when he saw how happy House was, he thought House's words about being yourself rang hollow. And ... there was something else, but I forgot what it was. Gah!

TAUB IS AWESOME. Heh, I wondered if that line from his wife about being in the witness chair was a call-back to Peter Jacobson's appearances on Law & Order. Heh heh.

Oh, yes, I have no doubt they love each other (in all the weird and dysfunctional ways they have), but that specific look on Wilson's face after House said, "I like what this says about you, Wilson"--that did not seem like a happy lovesick look to me, which seemed to be the impression others came away with. But yes, House's words did totally ring hollow in that moment, for me at least, and perhaps for Wilson too!

I really need to write some Taub fic. Maybe once the big bang is finished!

Yep. And I was thinking about it some more just now (zomg, stop!), and it's also entirely possible that when House said "get one thing that means something to you" ... Wilson did. He got something that symbolizes House, because House is the one thing in his life that he really does love and that means something to him.

Which could be very sad in some ways, but it's also very lovely.

I was at the reunion party so I missed the ep again.

Was supposed to be eating but got distracted by all the posts I missed yesterday. *g*

Guess I should go get food, since it IS after noon and I forgot to eat breakfast. :o)

I'm hating the time change today because no one reset the office clock and I'd been puttering around at half speed all morning, not realizing it was an hour behind. GRRR.

I realized as the day wore on that some of my muzzy-headedness could be attributed to coming down with Corgiguy's cold. He was actually sick enough to be laid up in bed for almost a week, so I'm just thrilled.

I took a couple of ibuprofen a little while ago because of allergies ... eyes have been watering, sinus pressure. Guh.

I'm feeling better from last night - not a whole lot, but enough that I'm going to try to get some things done today. There's a high of 71, which means it's finally starting to get warm enough.

I'm glad you're feeling better! I went from XP (on the Lenovo) to Windows 7 (on Vera Toshiba) and it definitely took some getting used to.

It's going to be warmer there than it is here.

HI NIGHTDOG HI!

I am DONE with class for the week, already! and I'm about to post a list post, to take me through the last hour or so of my day, as I get myself ready to jet off in the wee hours of the morn. And I will also be making some tea.

Amazingly enough, the Advil is helping my headache, and I don't hate everyone today. For now. :)
