The icon sez it all -- slow, steady rain all morning. Chango went out and came back thoroughly soaked. She held still for the drying off but kept wanting to stick her face in mine. There have also been some hungry titmice and chickadees at the feeders.

So. Should take some beef out of the freezer so I can make chili tonight. Or something. Maybe I'll try some writing later on.

Also, if you haven't seen it yet -- here is the deleted scene from 'Brave Heart,' as authorized by the director Greg Yaitanes. Beautiful, amazing, and should not be missed -- House, as a little boy. Thanks again to [livejournal.com profile] cryptictac for spotting this last night.

Lord, yes. And Chango has very furry feet, so she makes quite the schmear.

:-P

Hi there.

Back from my errand to go get TV, except, I don't have a TV to show for it. Just some serious aggravation, 'cause dude, that was a LONG drive.

Just had lunch, posted my list, and am sipping coffee and plotting the rest of my day.

And it is 40-something degrees here and raining steadily. Yay. Well, rain is good; we need it very much after literally years of drought up here, but bluh. October's not when this is supposed to happen.

It's a lovely clear day here and not too chilly, which means it will soon be rainy and cold again.

The deleted scene was so sweet. House finally seeing his past as it was, and not through the misery of the past decade, was just wonderful.

Greetings! I've been keeping track of this story from Edmonton. This morning a guy walked into the Workers Compensation Board office with a rifle and took hostages. Yes, his problem was a complaint about a claim he'd filed. It's still going on. It's nasty business but you can't help it but think of WCB jokes.

I saw that on CNN! They said he was angry at one of the doctors, so you can guess where my mind went ...
