OMG YOU GUYS!!!!! IT'S COOL HERE! Heh. It's cloudy and 66 degrees, with the wind out of the north-northwest. I've turned off the a/c and opened the windows. Oh my God. Of course, the dog is still hiding in her den because it rained earlier this morning and heaven forbid she should be comfortable while it's raining. *rolls eyes*

Anyway. Just sitting here. Enjoying the cool.

LOL at our posting twin posts. It's cool here too! \o/ I'm starting to think we have sister states, other than the fact that you have more rain than we do. I think.

DOOD IT IS A MAGICK TRANS-NATIONAL CONNEXION!!!!!

Hee. We probably get more rain than you, but I'd have to look it up to be sure.

Well, I assume different parts of your state get different amounts of rain anyhow. Israel is 60% desert, so they get far less rain than I get in the Center, and I get less rain than Jerusalem gets in the mountains half an hour away, and Jerusalem gets less rain than the Galilee and the entire North of the country, which are 3-4 hours away... so it's all very circumstantial :-)

Yep, it's like that here. West Texas doesn't get much rain, and neither does the Panhandle or South Texas. East Texas probably gets the most, although it's been a rainier-than-usual year in our area too.

It's trying to be sunny here, which is lovely after yesterday when it rained 5 inches. (Chango would have been permanently traumatized by it.)

The Padre is away this morning so I'm not having to rush around like mad, which is very nice.

I saw that you've had LOTS of rain in your area! Yikes!

But yay for not having to rush this morning. :-)

It's amazing how much gets done when I'm not having to be distracted by the Padre's million and one side projects. Harvey was here for an hour this morning, in need of help filling out forms and reading letters, and I still got the morning stuff done in time for one of the check signers to drop by before lunch. (I don't have check-signing rights, which is A-Okay by me because it's protection from accusations of fraud.)

Also quite cool here - must be a worldwide phenomenon. Like the earth's axis shifting to move the Northern hemisphere away from the sun, decrease the length of the days, and bring about lower temperatures. Happy Autumn Equinox, by the way.

Sitting here, enjoying the sitting, trying to get the motivation to be productive and do something.

HI NIGHTDOG HI HELLO!

I am as of right now FINISHED with class for the WEEK EEEEEEE! and I am eating my lunch and taking a breather before the afternoon's work--which I can do, because I have NOTHING SCHEDULED to interrupt me! Oh, it feels so good.

I had a colleague visit my class this morning, and I don't know how successful I was, but oh well, it will give us good stuff to discuss.

SO. I am excited that it is cool and lovely there--it is raining quite heavily here!--and I think I may put up a post, about my afternoon and my week and random thoughts and the Big Trip. Heh.

HI PERSPI!!!

Yay for being done for the week! And yes, the weather is a big shock here -- it's dropped two more degrees and now it is 64.

You should definitely post. Especially since I have no idea what your Big Trip is. *g*

I COULD HAVE SWORN I HAVE TALKED ABOUT IT?! But yeah--it has been a major stressor the last couple weeks, and here I'm going to be disappearing and no one knows why...

So yeah, a post is coming forthwith...
