Warm (85 degrees) and mostly sunny. Humid. Looks like there's some scattered rain in the area, but nothing here.

So ... have a meme, lifted from [livejournal.com profile] takes_a_fairy. What Kind of Book Are You?:

You Are Fantasy / Sci Fi
You have an amazing imagination, and in your mind, all things are possible.
You are open minded, and you find the future exciting. You crave novelty and progress.

Compared to most people, you are quirky and even a bit eccentric. You have some wacky ideas.
And while you may be a bit off the wall, there's no denying how insightful and creative you are.

I'm off to bed, having stayed up way too late. Ugh. Better time management and less procrastination needed nao plz. And I also need to learn that staying up late doesn't make things magically get done. Ugh.

Yeah, I'm grumpy, so I think I'm gonna go to sleep. You're just getting up, so it's this crazy hemisphere yin and yang thing. Have a nice day, anyway. :)

Those damn hemispheres! Who invented them anyway? *g*

Have a nice night! ;-)

Heh! I still haven't learned that one. =D

Sleep well.

Heh! That is so true of you! hee

Today...as I am able, I will be rearranging the other living room furniture that was disturbed putting that huge entertainment center in. *yoiks*

Got anything on your agenda today?

I thought it was pretty funny when it came up!

Got anything on your agenda today?

I hope not -- I just want to be lazy and good for nothing today.

I could totally get into bonding with my sofa and watching the SGA DVD I got yesterday! =D

Glad you snagged my meme. It was pretty funny when I saw it. I was surprised at how close this quiz comes to the mark.

Awww, Nightdog, you're always good for plenty of things.

I'm being Responsible today but am now Hungry and going to make some lunch for self. I need to update my list post to keep myself on track with things I need to do.

Isn't it amazing how moving just one thing in a room leads to shoving around almost every other piece of furniture? A few weekends ago I changed out one bookcase in a bedroom and it led to moving things and carting stuff around in two rooms and the hallway.

Hi Corgi! *waves*

Oh my goodness, yes!!! And when it's a single-wide trailer you're doing it in, it becomes very much like a bad slide puzzle. It's so nice to be understood. =D

I am also being Responsible and resisting the urge to kick and yell "don't wanna!" at the heaps of crap on my work desk. The first day back after vacation is always consists of regret and drama while I pay dearly for that time off.

But I had a yummy brunch at Starbuck's after getting my cholesterol checked this morning. Does anybody else do the "blood's drawn, test's not back yet, LET'S EAT!" thing? :)

Who doesn't?
Gotta feed that blood stream so it can replenish what the Doc took away!

Unsurprisingly, I came up as "Fantasy/SciFi" too.

Seriously, why would I write a book based on my life? My life is boring. I mean, in the literary sense, it is.

I don't know why I didn't come up as Fantasy/SciFi, because I like reading those just as well.

But realistic fantasy about House is good. =D

I need to make some calls, mail some packages, and maybe type up a rant on how Western society with its already warped ideas towards eating and "children's menus" has allowed picky eaters to get their own nomenclature in serious literature, which strikes me as a crime against food in general.

That which set me off. Insects are delicious, you fool!

HI NIGHTDOG HI!

I have been not-real-productive thus far today, but I hope to ramp up a bit in the last two hours I'm here at the office. Except now I've gotta take that poll...

I'm apparently Fantasy/Sci Fi as well, no matter whether I answered that I thought I'd make a good professor or a good pilot. I wish the question about what one looks for in books had had an "All of the above" option, though.
