Sunny and 84 degrees -- there was a chickadee on the thistle-seed feeder and a titmouse on the regular feeder just a minute ago. Also Chango was pretending that she was STARVING! and begged for a treat. Hee.

Must go to the post office today and see what other errands I can run. I really need a haircut ... maybe I can get that done. Hm.

So, probably more later, chiclets.

ETA that I'm not opening it, but with a subject title like this I can only assume it's for a product that claims to enhance a certain part of the male anatomy: Need mouse to become tiger?

;-D

Last night someone with hair longer than mine came to class as a guest speaker. So with people like her and myself around, please forgive me when I hear about what you want to do and wonder, "What hair?"

The post office is on my agenda for this week or next. I need to write the cards for the packages first.

Heh -- I have really short hair that I try to keep short, so when it gets even a little bit long it feels really "heavy" on my head.

Must ... get ... trim.

Either that or it's for a computer program of some kind?

:-)

Happy haircut; I need one too, very much, but cannot afford.

Today's agenda: preliminary designs for "urban abstract" mural commission that I may or may not get; I'll be competing with other artists for this, so we'll see.

Yeah, you keep thinkin' that. Hee hee hee.

Urban abstract mural? I'd go with a big portrait of workers in hard hats, and something like "Supreme power derives from the people!", with a big red star!

... or maybe not. *g*

Hello, Mare and Nightdog!

I am not going to the office today, as I am CRANKY and IRRITABLE. Instead I am going to veg in front of the TV and work on my stuff with the Big Laptop. And drink tea all afternoon.

How goes the mural designing? And the haircutting? I had to trim my bangs a bit, because my haircut yesterday left them kind of long.

Hi Perspi! I haven't done anything yet -- I'm still playing with the thing I started earlier this morning. But I am about to write a check to the gas company ($17.94) and try to get going.

*grins*

Yeah, it's the post right below this one. It's yet another thing I've done a million times before -- Wilson abduction!OMG! -- but I've decided that I don't care if I've done it a million times, if I want to read it then I'll write it, even if it's just for me.

I think I'm going to Target. Yay me.

Late here; I appear to not be getting LJ notifications; must check on that.

Mural designing is kind of not going yet. I've been looking at the fellow whose style they gave me for a reference and thinking, not sure I can, or want to, do this.

I'll give 'em my own version of "urban abstraction" and see what they think. Because I sure can't replicate Jean-Michel Basquiat; just hope that actual replication isn't what they're after.

Banksy I can handle but not Basquiat. Ewww!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Perhaps the sender believes you just need to upgrade a household pet. :D (Yes, I know how remarkably dirty that sounds.)

I set aside this morning for an avalanche of paperwork, and the Padre left me nothing. So I've paid a few bills and am kind of twiddling my thumbs until it's time to leave.

I had to giggle -- I think usually it's something vaguely crude like "NEED GIRLS?????", but this one was almost poetic. Hee.

At least Harvey's not there, telling you his life story. *g*

I should never have said I wasn't busy. Just as I made plans to sneak out early, Joe the Roofer (not to be confused with Joe the Plumber by any means) showed up. I'd only been calling him since the first week of April. Did he call to say he was coming? Nope, just drove by with a ladder hoping somebody would be here. So now I sit here just in case he falls off the building.

And the local tradesmen wonder why it's so hard to make a living here. Jeeze.

I almost never get those porn-spam things at work, but right after posting above, I checked the church's e-mail and there was this subject line:

YOUR ROD WILL NEVER FALTER

Points for originality are not going to save them from an especially sharp hot rock in Hell. :D

I haven't had my hair cut in, well actually I can't remember. Two years? It doesn't grow longer than to my shoulders, it's fine so it just breaks off. Long enough to be annoying but not long enough to do anything with it.
There was a little red fox in the yard here at work, I watched it catch a mouse.

OMG A FOX! Did you ever see this post (http://nightdog-barks.livejournal.com/1004772.html) from last October? We saw a fox when we went to Nova Scotia, and it was pretty damn tame.

Getting here very late.

Been scarce due to weather patterns totally wrecking my head and therefore cognitive functionality. Also, been under the gun to do traffic school and work on gown so I can get all required monies, and paperwork in the hands of the out-of-town clerk of courts. *whimpers and wants mommy*

Re: need mouse to become tiger?
Heh! Definitely NOT a computer program.
Glad you didn't open it. Who knows what would pop out! hee
