Ugh and blah and all that. Cloudy and cool (50) and still damp, although it's supposed to be warmer than yesterday. Woke up at about four and couldn't go back to sleep for the longest time, and when I finally did it was filled with jumbled-up dreams that I can't remember.

On a better note, the story I've been working on gave me its real name, so I'll put that up a little later today.

Argh, need more coffee.

They're having a jazz brunch downstairs, which I get to listen to in my PJs because I live over the function room. Thought I was going to have Take the A Train stuck in my head all day, but now they're playing the Pink Panther theme, so I guess it's a toss-up. :)

Hee. At least Take the A Train is a classic, but it would still be annoying to have it as an earworm all day.

Mm. I am particularly susceptible to the A Train, so possibly there is no escape.

Fortunately I don't know the song in question (actually, I probably know it but do not connect the name -- which I recognize -- with the song).

But. When I have earworms I generally kill them by singing something else to myself. In my case the best remedies are songs by They Might Be Giants; I'm sure your cure will be different, but it's worth a shot.

I'm sure you know it -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yaj9e4ZxFgQ&feature=related

Sounds like a good method to deworm, there.

More coffee is generally a Good Idea.

I have absolutely no idea what I will be doing today. None. Mom got a new computer last night and now she and Brother are busy with that -- it is a FANTASTIC computer -- so I may or may not end up with some free time on my hands.
