Or, at least, y'know, one of the funniest.*

I'll have to read that one! Maybe it'll clue me in to how to get rid of roaches, cheaply. Apparently, they know how to occupy territory in my house because of this book. Thanks for tipping me off!!

Do you think they really read this book?
What?!
No...not stupid...just being silly. =D
truly I do not know why I thought of this nonsense

ETA: I kinda liked these two...but the one you picked is the best one.

Heh! I really liked the "Happiness" cover too -- both the bright yellowness and the clever title placement.

If the job of a book cover is to make me want to read the book, that one is very effective.

Just home; I got off work around 3:30 but needed to run a couple errands. Still got Stuff to Do before I can come back here and goof off for a while.

Some of the others there are just as effective -- there are also links for the past three years' covers, and those are fun to look at too. I also ended up writing down a few book titles that sounded very interesting.

That looks awesome!

There's a blog (http://judgeabook.blogspot.com/) I know devoted to book covers, although it focuses on the bizarre and kitsch. This one (http://judgeabook.blogspot.com/2008/11/sultry-sunday-11-weekly-pop-sensation.html) is particularly amusing.

It's pretty cool. I showed it to the woman who owns/works at a secondhand bookshop I know, because they have a display of dodgy book covers in the shop.

Heh, your icon.

I like An Identification Guide to Shopping Trolleys of Eastern Australia. How do these people get published!

It's rocketing up the best-seller charts! Don't be caught without your very own copy -- those shopping trolleys won't identify themselves, you know!
