So the second episode of The Following was okay. I didn't think it had the crazy dirty adrenaline of the first ep, but then I'm not sure they could have matched it. And maybe they didn't want to -- otherwise every episode would have to be over-the-top and the writing would have to get more outrageous. I still don't see the supposed charismatic magnetism of Joe, but maybe it will come later.

Watched Hawaii Five-0 because nothing else I wanted to see was on, and was delighted that SOMEHOW in next week's episode cut for spoiler )

Finally finished John Sayles' Moment in the Sun. It is definitely worth reading, but I will totally admit that by the last hundred pages I was skimming. It's like Sayles was determined to use every single last scrap of historical research he did for the novel. Believe me, I am familiar with this temptation, but you can't give in to it. Tell the story; don't show off.

It has felt like spring here the last couple of days. Tomorrow we are supposed to get big thunderstorms. Can't wait.
