I baked cookies today. Which was something of a personal achievement, as I'd never baked cookies before. *g* I don't know why -- my mom used to make chocolate chip cookies all the time. hannahrorlove, although I followed the comments and added more spices (ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and cardamom) and left out the second cup of chocolate chips and all of the chopped walnuts. By the second batch I'd learned I needed to squish them down a little with the back of the spoon. Heh.
But they're good! And I learned a lot. Go me. :D
