Received my copy of the House Season 8 DVD today, yay! Have only watched one of the bonus features so far -- the "behind the scenes" of episode 8.19, "The C-Word." It was fairly interesting -- it really is amazing just how many people it takes to make one episode of a TV show. It was also pretty funny to hear one of the episode's writers, John C. Kelley, talk about the House/Wilson friendship and sound like a total fanboy. He actually said "they'd take a bullet for each other." Oh, shut up. I loved it. :D
Also picked up three new books -- The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, by Rachel Joyce, The Devil All the Time, (and isn't that a great title?) by Donald Ray Pollock, and Adrienne Mayor's The First Fossil Hunters: Dinosaurs, Mammoths, and Myth in Greek and Roman Times. Sounds good, huh?
Also there was a possum just now in our backyard (Chango got very excited). Making a plum tart tomorrow. And that's all I got.
