Better Living Through Chemistry

Still working through this whole process of having a dental implant done (to replace an incisor). Today was the part where they take a mold of the butt-end of the already-implanted post for the fake tooth to screw onto. This involves abusing one's gums with lethally sharp implements of destruction. Let's just say that hydrocodone is my friend right now. Mmmm, hydrocodone.

The extended trailer for David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas is here. What an awesome cast! Ben Whishaw, Jim Broadbent, Tom Hanks! I am not sure anyone is going to "get it," though, if they haven't read the book. Plus, I know I watched it and went "WTF has Tom Hanks done to his hair???"
