So. Have dived into new book -- Richard Ford's Canada. I'm halfway through -- I started it last night and then read for about two hours this afternoon while I was at the Honda dealership having maintenance-type stuff done to my car. So far ... it is friggin' brilliant. I know what happened with State of Wonder; I got halfway through that and then it fell off a cliff, so I am ON THE LOOKOUT for any cliffs with Canada. I haven't seen any yet.

Hot today, then a line of thunderstorms rolled through and cooled things down. We didn't get any rain, though. Grrrr.
