A/C is finally fixed, at a cost of $613. Such an amazing relief; in a way, it is really hard to fathom that this was once the norm everywhere. We still need a new system, but at least now we've got a little time to make an informed decision instead of rushing into something, which is what we would have been doing. These repair guys were good, but I got the distinct impression what they really wanted was to sell us a new system right now rather than fix the existing problem. OH NOES, WOULD THEY REALLY DO THAT? Ha.
